Adding an Event

To add an Event to the web site, we need at least the following content:
  1. The event index page (events.htm) should show the Event's descriptive name, and the date.

  2. The event's own page (event-eventname.htm) should show all the details about the event: name, date, description, prices, who to contact for information, and contain a link to an order form page.

  3. The order form page (event-eventname-ticket-order.htm) which can be completed on screen, then printed and mailed or faxed with payment. Later, it will be possible to submit the form electronically. Still later, we will have online payment through Visa.

  4. The revision log (revisionlog.htm) announces the addition of, or significant changes to, the event.

  5. The icon for the Event (feature-eventname.gif). Dimensions: 121 pixels wide, 89 pixels tall. This may be supplemented with promotional text on the Home page (home.htm). The icon is used to illustrate the Event page, and serves as a link from the Home page to the event page.
