| Well, we couldn't have asked for a better day.
Reminiscent of an Alberta Chinook, we had a warm, spring-like day for our first of what we hope will be many Alumni Ski Days at Osler Bluff Ski Club.
The young and the young at heart thoroughly enjoyed a day filled with sunshine, friendship and camp spirit not to mention fabulous ski conditions and beautifully groomed hills. |
| Alumni started arriving around 8:30 a.m. to check in, sign up for the fun race, enter the door prize and 50/50 draw and hook up with friends to ski with. |
| At 10:30 a.m., the race began with over 90 percent participation, and many of the racers taking 3 runs on the course.
Little did they know that prizes were not necessarily being awarded for the fastest times? |
| A delicious lunch was served in the Orchard Lodge catered by Philip Tarlo of Admiral's Post Catering.
Après lunch, we awarded prizes and performed the draws.
