We will need to hire roughly 22 Canoe Trip Leaders for our fall program in 2006. The dates of employment will be
Tuesday, September 12th, 2006 until Friday the 15th.
We will be sending out approximately 13 trips of 7 boys aged 15.
There will be two guide/leaders on each trip.
The trip will be three days in length.

We are hoping that maybe a few alumni would be interested in a paid vacation in Algonquin Park.

We have been hosting school groups up at camp in fall since 2003. A company called Alive Outdoors facilitates the program; we hire extra staff to help out with their program.

The boys are all students from St. Michael's College in Toronto. Very few, if any, have canoe tripping experience. This is basically an introductory trip for them, therefore not a very strenuous adventure. We require that anyone wishing to participate as a leader must have Bronze Cross certification.

The sex of the trip leader does not matter, we have sent out trips with all female staff as well as co-ed leaders. If there are any interested participants that would prefer to the lead the trip with a same sex co-leader they should let us know when applying. We will try to accommodate such requests.
