On Wednesday, May 9, Ian had a great morning reminiscing over old pictures of family and friends.
After a round of golf with "The Old Timers" at Donalda Club, he died suddenly in the early evening, at home, in Toronto.
Sally was by his side.
A very kind, gentle man, he shared his many talents with all.
He was a competitive sailor in his youth.
He loved art, carving, skiing, canoeing, camping and was a fixture, at September Camp, Taylor Statten Camps, Canoe Lake.
All who have known Ian have been touched by his sense of humour.
A child at heart, he was enthusiastic about play - he made fun for all.
He loved his children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He especially treasured his time with his grandkids, Rye, Elle, Gemma and Finn, when they visited from Australia last summer.
He will be remembered forever by his wife Sally, and his children Heather and Matthew Tynan, Ginny and Andrew Turner, Paul Cameron, all his extended family and many friends.
He is predeceased by his brother Don Cameron, his parents Don and Isabel Cameron, his grandson MacGregor Pete, and some life long friends.
Please join Ian's family for a service and reception, on Thursday, May 17 at 11 o'clock, in ROSEDALE UNITED CHURCH, 159 Roxborough Drive, Toronto, (416-924-0725).
In Ian's memory, donations to North York General Hospital Cardiology Fund, (416-756-6944), would be greatly appreciated. |
